New to Ayurveda?
Going far back in time, long before the scientific evidence was invented to proof its methods, our Indian ancestors developed Ayurveda. The word “Ayur” comes from the Sanskrit word “Ayuh” meaning life and “Veda” can be translated as wisdom or knowledge. So basically, Ayurveda means “the knowledge of life”. In its essence Ayurveda provides you with the knowledge of who you are and how to live your life in harmony.
For this you need to understand your own mind-body type (called ‘Dosha’) and Ayurveda gives you the key to this understanding! On top of that, it is the first ever recorded system of healing the physical, mental and energetic body. Fundamentally, it is giving each individual the personal tools to live a balanced and fulfilled lifestyle. Does this sound great to you? Then this is the workshop for you to either re-awaken or introduce yourself with the wonderful world of Ayurveda.
What do you learn?
In this session you will be introduced to basic principles of Ayurveda as well as the three primary mind-body personalities: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. You will get to know what is best for your particular birth constitution (prakruti) and current imbalance (vikruti) in order to balance yourself with a unique diet, lifestyle, relaxation and a daily routine.

Origin of Ayurveda
5 Elements (Pancha Maha Bhutas)
Basic mind-body types (Vata, Pitta & Kapha)
20 Gunas (the 20 qualities and the principle of “like increases like”)
Lifestyle & nutrition recommendations for each type and the different seasons
